about the founder

I was born in southern Arkansas in the United States of America.  At the age of 2, I moved to Houston, Texas with my mother and father, then at age 11, I moved to the Northwest where I lived in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon.  I am a child of divorce and my mother remarried another man who just happened to have 4 children of his own.  Since I moved around often as a child, I am able to be flexible and adapt more easily to change.  I believe change is inevitable in the world and we should embrace it so we can inspire positive growth for the betterment of our communities.

When I was a young child, I was happiest and energized most when I was outside amongst nature exploring and enjoying the many activities one can participate in the outdoors.  I get a lot of my motivation and inspiration from God's natural Earth.  I enjoy the quietness of creating using different forms of art and crafts media.  I am an avid sports fan and enjoy watching and participating in different sports.

I have a strong educational background.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a lifetime Certification in Elementary Education.  I have worked in a private school teaching young children.  I became a licensed paramedic and registered nurse to help people of all ages and races.  I have worked in these professions for over 20 years.   As a paramedic and nurse, I have observed and researched different lifestyles of people to understand why we have continuing difficulties having a balance in our daily lives.  We continue to become dependent on traditional western medicine and pharmaceuticals.

This site is an ongoing development to focus on holistic health and whole person aspects which combines the body, mind, heart, and spiritual so we can live a balanced life as human beings and know our true selves.
